Jaffrey S. Kazi, MD, attended Dow Medical College in Pakistan, where he received his medical degree. He then relocated to the United States, where he served his internal medicine residency (1987-1990) and gastroenterology fellowship (1990-1993) at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. In addition, Dr. Kazi received board certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is involved in various committees at HonorHealth Shea Medical Center and Osborn Medical Center. He additionally serves on the credentialing committee at Osborn Medical Center and on the pharmacy and therapeutic committee at Shea Medical Center. Active in clinical research trials for conditions such as celiac disease and encephalopathy, Dr. Kazi received a Research Award from the American College of Surgeons in 2005.
